ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating effectively within a survey team with minimum supervision.
- Performing topography, staking, boundary surveys, and control surveys using both conventional and
- GPS techniques.
- Performing construction observation and data recording.
- Operating various survey instruments including GPS equipment, levels and total stations with electronic data capabilities, and collecting information in the field.
- Following company policies and procedures and party chief’s directions, as necessary to meet project schedules, budgets and objectives.
- Future training, mentoring, and assessment of trainee personnel.
- Complying with all safety requirements.
- Taking accurate and clear notes and maintaining records essential to the project.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining an attitude of professionalism and integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Licensed in North Dakota and/or MPrevious supervisory experience within a survey crew a plus.
- Proficiency with running and adjusting/calibrating various survey instruments including GPS equipment, levels and total stations with electronic data capabilities, including Trimble software for computer and data collector.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral business communication skills and well organized.
- Ability to work during inclement weather.
- Prepared to travel and to perform onsite work daily.
- Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times, in-office or onsite.
- Drone experience preferred.
- 3D Scanner experience preferred.
